thank god for jane austen

So tonight Agata and I went to see Pride and Prejudice, along with a little sushi and b&n action, which all in all made for an AWESOME evening. :-D hell yeah!

My God, that Jane Austen knew her shit. Seriously. We were laughing for like half the movie. We were often the only ones--but I'll just tell myself that that's because we were the only ones smart enough to get their clever remarks, and not because we're such giggly little girls that we couldn't stop giggling.

*giggle* ok, i can't stop. It's such a wonderful story! So sweet, so romantic, so idyllic! And yet so real, so well constructed! And even though I had reservations about Mr. Darcy's leading man, he fit very well once the movie was rolling. It was just beautiful! Just wonderful! *sigh*

We are all fools in love.
