Well, not really good news and bad news but sort of.
On the downside, my grandpa had his operation today to deal with his colon cancer. They were supposed to remove 2 tumors, do something to his heart, and put in something to help with chemo. (As you can see, the lines of communication aren't exactly clear.) All I know is that he made it through, he is intensive care, my parents have seen him for only about 11 minutes, and *watch out this is gross* they removed a tumor about the size of his head. I guess it is the tumor and surrounding tissue, but still. So I am worried about him, but right now it is kind of far away from me because I can't really go see him, and if/when I do it will only be for a few minutes at a time anyway.
On the upside, I don't want to get into any details so as not to jinx anything, BUT a certain special someone has a certain special job he is starting on Monday with a certain university that just got dunked out of March Madness. In the Athletic Department. Doing web stuff. Is that cool or what?! I will post more intelligible details soon. :)
