spring

ahhh! you know, i never really liked spring, but it seems kind of lovely this year. There are violets in our yard that are sooo cute, and the trees along Butler St. have all these little white flowers on them which ironically look kind of like big puffs of snow. ;) and now they are falling all over the street like confetti. it is soooo nice.

i stopped at a farmer's market i've been meaning to explore on the way home from work today, and bought 2 pots of tulips for 12 dollars. 3 tomatoes and some snap peas, and i paid 15 bucks! i may be totally crazy but that seems awesome for what i got!! and the guys that ran the place were soooo nice. i will definitely have to keep going back.

the BEST thing though is that i have tomorrow off. i know it's good friday, but TIM DOESN'T! Ah ha ha! my boss (who's Jewish and also going to DC on friday) only decided that we were going to have it off on wednesday, so it's actually very cool - it's like i got a free day off!! and then i left at four today with them practically kicking me out. so in other words work is going good.

AND tim's job looked like it might have so problems, but he is making some progress convincing them that he is right! it always works on me, so i guess i shouldn't be surprised. ;) i am hoping it all works out.

well, off to make some yummy dinner. ;)
