skip back 5 weeks

My grandpa just went back into the hospital, since he's getting worse and we can't really take care of him, and the weird thing about this is that it's like suddenly the last five weeks never happened. All of a sudden I am working on more youth violence stuff, which I haven't worked on since before my papa came to our house. I am back to visiting him in the hospital. Everything seems oddly the same.

The only different thing is that my now homeless grama is at our house now instead. She's so much easier to take care of, and sweet and funny at least for the time being, so hey! We are also feeding her really well so she's gaining weight!!! :) (For background clarity - she was 68 lbs at the time of the fire, and she and my papa are divorced, although they still get along.)

AND I have a business trip next week! I am going with my boss to Atlanta for a meeting about youth violence. Hopefully no violence will ensue. Also, I showed him my concept for a site for an 3D animation / simulation training company and he thought it was good like it was! I am glad. I'm not sure I like it, but in this case I haven't really got to talk to the clients that much, and I am honestly fine with doing something they like even if it doesn't seem like the most appropriate solution to me. I still like it, it just may not be *EXCITING* enough I think.

I am really enjoying work though. In a weird way, even when I am super annoyed or frustrated, I feel like I am being soooo challenged. Everything is such a stretch for me, and everything is so fast paced (not too much though) that I am still satisfied even when I'm stressed out. Oh well - hopefully this continues.
